At the summer of 1994, a writer named John Sebastian accidentally stepped on a land mine. He and his teacher and fellow students, Anne R. Brewer and Daniel Solomon, were planning to leave for Paris, France for a visit. This was an assignment passed out by the American university they attended.
These were just two of several students across the globe who had taken the article writing class. It was being taught as part of the general studies. They did not know during the time the coming trip would turn into the beginning of a lifelong experience.
1 night, when the majority of the other students were also asleep, John ended his final composition before he left for Paris. He sat there in the center of the conference area, sweating and breathing deeply, a nervous energy which almost seemed to over take him. He put it aside, unwilling to talk about his thoughts with some one of the other students.
Before he moved , he took a replica of one of his favorite poems, one he maintained in a document within his house and yet one he intended to use in a language at the University of Texas. He tucked it behind the top he wore that day, however after he returned to the classhe watched the poem had been set in a folder beside the notebook featuring his own essay. He also snatched the poem and put it off before he talked.
He wrote it down in a diary that he kept with him while he was on his own trip. His diary entries later demonstrated the path that led him to be at the French boundary that afternoon and also the causes that led him to publish those words into his diary.
Some time later, he filed his essay to a student publication for novel. He predicted it’d get picked up, but soon enoughhe discovered that the magazine, even usually the one where he hoped to gain a competition, wouldnot release his work. John chose to unveil his essay for a different publication, however it never made it to print. It didn’t get released until 2020.
John Sebastian and Anne Brewer and Daniel Solomon would not overlook the courses which John Sebastian learned during his journey. He had developed a personal philosophy about life that could shape the rest of his life.
